Tiiiiiiiiiired

I'm tired and frustrated.

I'm tired because I worked out hard yesterday and didn't get enough sleep (only about 6.5 hours).

I'm frustrated because two days ago I bought TWO POUNDS of blueberries, and last night in the middle of the night, probably in an Ambien-induced haze, my little sister ATE THEM ALL. I had eaten exactly two blueberries. Oh, but that's not all: The reason I bought all those blueberries is because the two pounds of blueberries I purchased last week had gone missing. You know why? BECAUSE MY LITTLE SISTER ATE ALL OF THEM TOO! In the middle of the night! GAAAAH!!!!!!!!

One more month until I am back in Washington. Thank God.

Workout log:
* Sunday: 42 minutes on the recumbent bike (8.5 miles, 300 calories, avg. HR 141, max HR 183)

  1. Why is Elizabeth taking Ambien? Good lord! She's way too young to be suffering from insomnia. Your whole family has a sleep disorder!

  2. Elizabeth takes some other prescription medication that makes it hard for her to fall asleep. Thus, the Ambien. Of course, you are right generally that my family DOES have a sleep disorder. My parents have taken the stuff for years and they are unwilling to go even one night without it. They say they can't sleep without it. Well DUH! They are addicted! When I take the stuff during finals, it takes me about 2-3 days off of it before my body can easily fall asleep on its own. They have been on it for YEARS... it would take at least a few days, probably a week, to get over it. And I don't think they're willing to be tired and cranky for that long.
